Sadly many times it takes a disappointment

to realize and figure out short comings.

We must be aware and continually look

for what is missing in our daily life.

We need people who care enough for us

that they show us with their actions that they

are not just lip service and when they say

“I am here for you” or “I will support you”

they mean it.

Regardless the responsibility for our life

rests squarely on our shoulders.

And here is where love and gratitude

comes to the front as I think of the one woman

who has made the biggest difference in my life

My wife Amy whose patience, loyalty, love

And strength has made my life better.

When so many others choose not to.
