A walk or a run???

66f9966a18f15901a90023115bbbc1f9

The younger version of me used to belong to

a military style health group in Mexico and

routinely run about 15 kilometers.

NOW, I can talk about it but in no way am I

in the physical condition to do even half of that.

I enjoy my crazy, long walks in all kinds of crazy places.

While my walks are not what they used to I still

enjoy the activity and how I feel after I am done.

Whatever your routine is, make sure that you are

doing something you enjoy so you ensure that you

will continue to do it. The only thing I do that I do not

is a leg work out when I am at the gym. Since, at the

present moment I am unable to join or attend a gym,

well I do not much worry about it. Does anyone else

hates leg day at the gym???

Choose Your Pain.

Everyone must decide.jpg

Truly, on this one there are two and only two pains.

Which one will you choose? Which one will I choose?

Life is intent on providing us with choices, and what we do with them

is up to us as individuals.

I know and know that I know I want more and better, but

at times I too have lost the battle to the blankets,

dessert was too pretty to pass and…… Here we are or

should I say here I am.

I am constantly making progress but at times that weak

little boy within me wants to rebel and do sh…. stuff he is

not supposed to.

Anyway gang when that happens we must immediately re commit

to our goals and get back in step with things.

Gang Stay Focus Stay Successful.

Arguments.

cbbf6440767dc265dc50892a55e1c212When it comes to arguing about diets

please, please don’t.

There are arguments for all the Diets

and all the programs out there, BUT

the moment that results begin to show…

Every body wants to know what it is

that you are doing.

Forget about it all and just do your thing.

Take care of you and commit to your program.

Just Do Your Thing.  Be Successful.

Stay focus.

Moments.

DSC_0747To share, to admire something amazing

with those that we love is great.

I have had the luck to share with my kids

of many a thing.  With Daniel my oldest it

was always Christmas. Boy did we go overboard.

With my young kids now, it is the water. River, Ocean,

beach, lake.  We all love the water.

My wife and I continuously look for excuses to take

day trips, and weekend trips, and any trips we can.

I then insert my walks and my work outs as best as I can.

This is not always easy and it does not always work but

we sure do try to make it work.

Figure out what works for you, what doesn’t.

Gang, make it work. figure it out and go forth.

Where have your walks taken you?

DSC_0013Where have your walks taken you?

I went for a long walk in Yuma, AZ.

This is the Colorado River, and at the end

of that bridge is California.

What a great day that was.

So great that keeping our exercise

commitments can also reward us by

taking us to great places and get us in touch

not just with our selves, but also with nature

and other kindred spirits.

Keeping our commitments makes us stronger

physically and also in character.

Gang, keep your word always to others but

specially to your self.

Push hard for those that depend on you but

push harder for yourself.

Make a difference for others but specially

make a difference for yourself.

Stay focus and remain successful.

Yes You Are!

you are too yungAnd for all that: Do not allow anyone to judge for being too old either.

We have things to do and who and how we are is no one else’s business.

What we want to change about us is not anyone’s business either,

so if you want to lose an ounce or a whatever amount of pounds
