The Meds Of Our Lives

62e621d57597a4db42872e9247641e16I see this and it reminds me of a friend who

suffered from by-polar disorder. He would say

to us all “If I start acting like all you crazies please

ask me if I took my meds” He was great.

Now back to us. If you had WLS you should be

on vitamins. If you have high cholesterol or issues

with your blood pressure you probably are on meds.

Where am I going with this? We Must Take Our Meds.

We must take our meds as prescribed.

I loved it that as the weight fell off my daily meds

count went down as well. I went from 12 and 15

pills a day to now only two and I am working on them

as well. I want out of the pill club.

Gang is we do the right things progress will happen.

A reduction of the meds we are on should be a goal

we work for.

Stay focus and remain successful.

Enjoying The Process.

keep cookingI had a visit with my Coach.

She pissed me off by being right once again.

She reminded me of the part I took in re-gaining almost

a hundred pounds yes that is 100 pounds.

She tells me “you did not just trip and fell a top 100 pounds worth

of fat and food., it was an active choice of putting in your mouth.,

more food than you should have.”

“It was not something that happened in a day or two so stick to

the program day in and day out and you will see the progress”

She is right and I know it I am just not the most patient of guys

and I hate being told what to do (I am sure I am the only one.).

But the fact remains that with her help I have already

lost several pounds and did it faster.

She is helping me reconnect with my passion for cooking and

using better techniques and better ingredients that will in the

long run help me maintain my weight loss.

Making Bacon.

2e0c44972f99d2e8f63ef20dd9eb0ab9

We all have addictions and they come

in all sizes and types.

Mine is Bacon… Well one of them.

Lucky for me I am on a low carb diet

so it is not as much of a big deal as others.

The thing with addictions is that it represents

a thing or aspect of our personality that we

can’t or are unable of control.

When cooking at home I can’t have just one

piece or two of bacon. I have to eat more.

Why is it a problem? Well it is not the most

healthy of food items to be had. I know it and

you know it. Yet….

And there is where the problem is.

I consider it a flaw in my character when

I have something, or someone who I can

not have enough of an that is and has been

the start of other negative things. Have YOU

ever been addicted to the acceptance of others?

Have you ever found your self being such a

perfectionist that you fail to bring to market

an idea that could be a game changer because

it is ot in your eyes perfect enough?

This are examples of addiction as well.

It is ok to want to be great but do not let

this get in the path of progress. Do not

forget that we learn even of those imperfect

efforts and make a move to “done”

Put aside even for a moment the doubts and

make some progress. You and others will

surely benefit from your efforts.

Never, however forget to learn from your

experiences.

Gang stay focus and work on being successful.

On Life.

good things happenFor those of you familiar with my blog and

work you know that I have been working

on getting to my ideal weight yes., but I am also

working on creating a life I can feel proud of.

In the process of making a difference in and for

my circle of influence I have shared honestly and,

have contributed with advise from my own

past experiences.

Me just like you have had nice and significant

triumphs but had also to wrestle with the

Alligator of failure and short comings.

On the spirit of sharing I want to tell you the two

things that are making a difference in my daily

battle., this are things that are working for a

hard case like me so maybe they can make a

difference for someone else out there.

1.- I have a coach that has been kicking my ass

up and down the long hours of the day.

Her outside view with the inside info she

gets from me has had outstanding results.

2.- the influence of the products, service and support

of the 48 days community. Gang you do not have

to buy anything to get some great free tools and

you can join their weekly podcast for free. Why do I

recommend it? Well because in the process of

doing more than just loosing weight I am building

a life and a business and  there I have found real

people with real dreams and some of the challenges

that we all face. If you are working on more than

just loosing weight and making a living take a look at

their program I hope you benefit as much as I have.

To the right you can find an affiliate link that will

take you straight to their site. As I said before you DO NOT

have to buy anything but you can get a lot for free.

Gang till the next time.
