Goals.

Set a goalOk Gang. This is the first week of

December, and the question in the air is:

Have you written your 2019 goals?

Guys we can never start too early writing our

yearly goals and plans.

It should be an automatic that by November the 15th

we are done with our planning then,

when the craziness of the holidays hit

we are ahead of the competition.

Reality is that few, very few people

accomplish this. and even less take their

goals to fruition. BUT…… The weird ones,

the successful folk, The strange, the winners

they all do this.

Gang I want for all of us to be strange, weird,

winners. YES I want for all of us to have

an amazing 2019.

Please, please work on putting your goals

and dreams on paper. Go crazy and dream big

remember that we want to be weird, and strange

Because we want to be winners.

People……….

equalizer

And that is why we do not pay them no mind.

We should be so busy working on our stuff

that anything that those outside of our circle

do or say just stays there “OUT”.

Work on your goals, Work on your dreams,

Work on what matters to you and ignore

the rest.

Ageless Class

4c16e8356a16bd92961de8d61aef6a1cI do not know how old this gentleman is but

I hope that I can look as good as he does, as both of them

look when I get to their age.

You see gang, this is doable and available to us all

if we are willing to pay the price, and the price is

paid with hard work and committment.

Not easy but truly doable and well worth it.

Stay focused and stay successful.

FITNESS.

any size.png                    Our size matters so little in comparison to the size of our commitment.

Character and commitment are the main markers we should be paying

attention to instead of most other things.

For those of us who have gone through the Lap Band procedure or any

other WLS surgery, there is a common misconception that somehow

we have taken a short-cut and that is just not true.

The managing of the Lap Band or in my case the Reliance Band

has taken so much learning and discipline that I count it as a

separate degree or certification, God knows it cost just as much.

To go through the procedure took a serious amount of commitment

and investment of time and effort.

The thing is that doing nothing will give us nothing.

Do we want results??? Then let us do something about it.

Let us do something now, right now and do not look back.

Therapy Any One?

24dd3d98cd4ab1f9217bf1887394b83aThere are times when I get the biggest charge

out of a visit with Mr. Punch Bag.

At times, it is not about exercise or burning

calories, and it turns into plain and simple therapy.

At times, I admit I might make Mr. Bag pay for

the silliness, stupidity and shortcomings of others

and myself as well.

All aside I do enjoy how I feel after a session with

the bag and I find that when done properly I use my

whole body and the workout is great.

For those of us with a Lap Band, exercise should be

an intrinsic part of our days in order to keep, and add

to our weight loss numbers. Also, it helps maintain

our weight loss rhythm.

Gang when you don’t have a whole lot of time

try a session with the bag and see how effective

it can be.

Stay focused stay successful.

More To Life.

904e03b8a0610d88ff54729a80546fe4
Last year around this time I hit us rather hard

with the whole goal setting thing and, I still think

that it is most important. BUT I also want to say

that life is more than just working out and worrying

about our weight. It is more than counting calories

and evaluating water characteristics.

Gang there are friends and family and hobbies and

countless books that also require our attention.

I was looking at my e reader and I have about

400 books. (yes amazon loves me) I noticed that

I had 46 book in progress meaning I had started

and had not gone back to as of yet.

I Love Photography. A lot., and if I could I would

hit the trail with my camera and just hit the shutter.

I miss quiet times with a good book and the

walks on the desert or trails up in the mountains.

We have to be about more than just weight loss.

Yes let’s try to be healthy always but let’s also

remember to be present in the moment.

Hey gang if you have any pictures that you feel

particularly proud of would you send them to me

I love to look at other folks pictures.

You can see many of my pictures at my Weebly

photo blog at:  www.josegosuna.weebly.com/

A couple of things for you to know if you are going

to that blog 1.- Please bring your sense of humor

2.- Not all the pics there are mine. 3.- If something

offends you please just move to the next item.

But really there are some great materials there.

If you go there the first photo you will see is of me

so if you are brave enough go check it out.

Again if you would like to share some of your pics

Please send your pictures to me privately at:

lapbandformen@gmail.com or you can share

them publicly here at the blog.

I thank you very much and hope that

we are serving and entertaining you.

Road 2

I just want to share the road where I do my daily walk.

I try to do 4.5 miles every day and it works out ok for the most part.

This is the time I use to clear my mind. The time I use to get centered

and plan for the rest of the day. I also use this time to ground my self.

At times the urgent takes the place of the important and we must

be able to differentiate the one from the other.

Whatever your routine is make sure that you keep it in mind.

Stay committed to you and your goals do not start your day

by losing the first battle to the comfy bed.

As always I hope for the best for you all.
