About Fat…

46fb9400c33796e8c716f848ae29de5eAmazing how people at times are so very

narrow-minded, how little value they and

at times WE give to “Other’s” feelings.

Many a thing can not be changed but there

are other things, important things that can and

should change. Our attitudes, our poor and

negative behaviors.

We need to see the world in a more open and

positive way.

Our goals and dreams when ever-present

provide the fuel, the Jet Fuel to our lives’.

I guess what I am trying to say is that regardless

of the outside influences it is still up to us to make

life and things and dreams and goals happen.

Gang. Stay focus and remain successful.

RESILIENCE.

Always AlwaysWanting what we love and loving what we want

is a sure way to improve in our Resilience.

We all know that life is imperfect and we know

just as well that things are not going to be just

how we want them to be for the most part.

It is acknowledging that and deciding to push thru

that makes us better every day.

Not better than others just better than we were

just yesterday.

There is no such thing as a small change or a

little improvement. Better is better regardless of degree.

When Sh…tuff happens push harder.

When things don’t go as you want them., try again.

When you are not getting the results you want., Refocus.

Do what you must but do not give up.

Gang we are worth it.

Let’s go for it.

“Them”

Judge MeThat is reality.

And it is not limited to big, fat people no,

people of all sizes are judged and criticized

because of their size.

I feel really sorry for those that allow that to

get to them as I feel that the one and only

voice that matters is our own.

Please do not think that I am trying to minimize

the feelings and emotions that come from

listening to mean, careless and at times cruel

comments and “looks” as I too have fallen to the

same things as some of you might have.

I just had to learn how to ignore it and remain

focused in order to continue to improve.

Please do not allow others to affect your life

and more importantly your health.

Since I started working on health care I have

had a deep dislike for Dietitians who have the

kick you in the head approach because they have

the education but lack the tact and ability to deal

with the lesser (read overweight) people.

Are they all the same??? Maybe not but it sure has been

ALL the ones I have had a chance to meet.

EVERY SINGLE ONE.

Gang I guess what I am trying to say is do not let

Ass-Holes ruin your day as they are all over the world.

If you want to learn more about being a “Doer” take a look

at the books and learning materials recommended in my

book kit at  KIT.COM/LAPBANDFORMEN

Centered Approach.

different-diet-cartoonBecause each of us is so different

we must figure out what works for us.

By not having a centered approach

we can miss out on the opportunity

to find the ONE thing that actually

could be a game changer.

I made it clear that my approach was

low carb, high protein, low sodium

and low-fat diet and the reason is

very simple to me: It Works For Me.

This was not about fancy advertisement

or a good-looking person on TV. I tried

many of the other diets and none of them

did it for me. This one did. NOW!! I am NOT

telling you to do the same but, what I am

telling you is that you should look and work on

finding the one that works for YOU.

I have purposely not used diet or product

names because I do not want you to assume

quality or efficiency on any of them. I want

for you to go and try so you can find on your own

the right one. POINTER  It all starts with you.

Figure you out and you will win.

YOU are worth it so please stay with it.

The Evil Monday!

Today is a new begining monday

On Monday’s and other necessary evils.

We all know that for a new start every day

is a good day.

I like Monday’s… Yes I said it. I like Monday’s.

It is a clean slate with endless possibilities and

I want to take a shot at it. I want to do what others

do not because I want what others can’t have.

Be weird with me. Let’s make it count.

This day and every day is a great chance for a

fresh start or a new goal.

Happy Monday to you all and do not forget

to drink the water, measure the food, increase the

activity, take the meds and do not forget the

vitamins. All of this is part of the picture.

Keep it present, make a difference.

Please if this serves you or entertain you

share the love and post it to any of the

Media services below. I thank you.

Regardless.

Always AlwaysThe inherent imperfection of being human.

We hope too much, We love too much.

We expect too much, We want too much.

We give too much, We push too much.

And some times we and those around us

fall short of what is expected.

Maybe it is just me.

The reality is that we all must be

honest, realists, sensible specially when

it comes to planning our activities.

We must at all times keep the main thing

the main thing as Mr. Covey told us.

Let’s keep those things that are relevant to us

on the front burner and continue to push.

Our health and goals are worth it.

Let’s make it happen.

Keep Working Today On A Better Tomorrow.

The Love Of Click!!

I got the love of the still image from my father.

He carried a camera and in the later part of his

life he carried a tape recorder as well.

There are many a picture left that he took

of the family and it makes me realize just

how much happiness it brought him.

I know that there are two pictures in particular

that always put a simile on my face.

One is of my younger sister and myself

on the back of an old Chevy truck eating an

ice cream cone. The other is a picture of me

sitting by a fountain. Both pictures are Black

and white and remind me principally of my

father who has moved on but also of a different

time in life where the mortgage, weight loss and

many other things were not a problem… To Me.

Find something you love and enjoy it as you

continue to work on your goals and dreams.
