Reality Shock!!

You never realize

It is amazing the things we do when our backs are against the wall.

Recently I was in limbo in regards to my health and future in general. I decided I could not control the results but I could control my reaction and the ensuing decisions. I pushed my diet and re-focus my goals. I started again

I felt out of control and out of options. THAT was what made me push harder and fight to regain some form of normalcy and control. I found strength and personal power, resolve I did not knew I had.

I do not know what it is that will bring the fight out of you but I hope you can find it at the time of your greatest need.

Goals, Dreams, Plans are things not to take lightly. This are the things we fight for. This are the things that change us.

Keep pushing, keep working and by all means keep dreaming.

All the best to all of you.

Best Arm Exercises.

As we all know weight loss is not just about Diet.

We must add the activity, exercise, water and sleep.

I enjoy weight lifting (not leg day) and I found this

information board from the guys at Decibel.com

and it is a very good one.  Take a look and see if this

is something that could potentially work for you.

Don’t Get Comfortable.

0dde598ff184573149d0bb711bd55f4bDo not get comfortable!

There is still plenty of work to be done.

We are work in progress so do not

forget or get complacent.

The more we try the better we get at it.

Life and living is a moving target.

We might be better at one of them but

are we getting better at both at the same time??

I have been told by people smarter than me that

the act of living is a whole encompassing process

that few, very few master.

Shit I just try to keep my head above water.

I try to work out every day.

I try to stay to my diet every day.

I work on woking on me every day.

AND THAT is what I wish you would do.

Stay focus. Remain Successful.

Failure., Big Failure.

A while back I made a mistake. I allowed my emotions, frustration and feelings take the best of me.
My mistake has cost me even more frustration and a loss of peace of mind.
The regret I feel is such that it has affected my state of Peace.
I regret my weakness as I have made it a point as of last to stand on my own two feet and I hate that lapse in judgement. I actually trusted and “expected” from someone who called themselves “A Friend”
Gang many things we do for others even our healthy life style efforts but, the preservation of our dignity, self-worth and self-respect we must do for ourselves. It is my hope that you will be smarter and stronger than me and avoid the regret of a moment of weakness.

As always all the best for you and yours.

Cry Fat Cry!

Screaming Fat.

Yes. We have and need some fantasies as we are working out.

I really want to hear fat and calories scream as they are burned and destroyed.

This one of the things that I think about on my daily 4.5 mile walk.

Have a great day you all.

Goals The Pathway For a Better Tomorrow.

Goals. When do you work on your yearly goals? There is no wrong answer for this UNLESS you don't write your yearly goals. Everyone has a different way or process to develop and evaluate your plans and goals. I now am trying a new approach and it is to have my goals for the next year ready by the 15th of November well before the busy days of the holidays and end of year. Whatever your system is make sure you are making realistic, measurable goals for the year of 2015. All the best now and always to you all. Jose G. Osuna www.lapbandformen.com

PERSPECTIVE

PERSPECTIVE

“A picture is worth a thousand words” Or we could say it is worth a hundred pounds.
This picture was sent to me by the administrator of the blog iambetterthanthis.com and it just spoke to me.
At times it helps to see our goals. To feel our vision. This little tool which I will start using today does just that. It is simple, visible, present and, a kick in the gut when we are not doing what we said we were going to do.

Those of us who have gone trough the procedure of having WLS know that we put our life on the table when we went to surgery. Spend lots of money going trough the process and committed to a change in our lives. Folks. It is not the band that fails as I was just reminded while reading another fellow blogger’s posts. (madbandedhousewife.wordpress.com) It is us who can fail if we do not keep to the plan. Hell no it is not easy! But it is so worth it, our life a better life is worth it.

Anyway. This pic came from Pinterest and I hope it is a tool that is useful to you. I know it will be for me.

As always I wish you all the success that you rightfully deserve.
